Zomato was founded as FoodieBay in 2008 by Deepinder Goyal and Pankaj Chaddah who worked for Bain & Company. The website started as a restaurant-listing-and-recommendation portal. They renamed the company Zomato in 2010 as they were unsure if they would "just stick to food" and also to avoid a potential naming conflict with eBay.

Zomato is a very helpful application. So far having great experience, hopefully it will continue its service with the same reger. Gold option is good. Also discounts and offers are very worthy. Keep up the good work.

I had a terrible experience with the Zomato app. The food arrived cold and soggy. Customer service was unresponsive and unhelpful, with no resolution offered despite multiple attempts to contact them and This was not the first time for me. I expected a much better service, but this was a huge letdown. Would not recommend! Why are you charging high amount then regular restart price if food preparation is not in your hand
